The problem a lot of entrepreneurs face when they’re starting & growing their business is how to get more clients.
And it can be really easy when you’re trying to gain momentum in your business to get caught up in survival mode of trying to:
Leave your full-time job or avoid going back to one.
Pay the bills each month to keep your business afloat.
And grow your business to a point where you no longer have to worry when your next pay check is coming.
It become so focussed on how much money you’re brining in…
And you can lose sight of why you started your business in the first place.
But there’s a simple shift you can make in your mindset to magnetise more clients in your business.
1. Create a mission related goal.
Unless you’re someone that’s only in it for the money, you started your business as your mission to make a difference in some way. And when you focus on your goal to get your first client or make your first $10k or $20k you can lose sight of that.
In Sanaya Roman & Duane Packer’s book… “Creating Money” they say “do not focus on what people will give you or what you want from them for you are not very magnetic when you do.”
Instead, you become magnetic by focussing on serving or assisting people.
So the first step is to create a goal around your mission.
What’s the difference you want to have made in the next 12 months?
How many people do you want to serve & share your message with and how will this affect their lives?
When you create a mission goal you become magnetic to attracting the clients to you that you can best serve.
Post your mission goal in a place you’ll see often throughout the day, put it on a post it note on your computer and connect to it each morning before you start your day.
Now for the next step…
2. Write down what ways you enjoy getting your message out there.
If you hate sitting down the write a long blog post then that’s the last thing you should be doing.
Do you enjoy doing videos, facebook lives or being of service on social media?
Whatever it is, that’s what you need to focus your time doing.
Because it lights you up and that’s what makes you magnetic to your ideal clients that resonate with your message and want to work with you.
And the final step is to…
3. Ask yourself “how can I REALLY help the people I want to serve?”
Are you being of service on social media and writing that weekly email to tick that box or are you really aligned with the intention of helping your clients to create a transformation?
When you really come from the place of genuinely wanting to serve rather than focussing on what you’re going to get out of it, you’re going to start drawing people in to work with you without even trying.
And it won’t feel like a struggle because you’re not attached to the sale, instead you’re completely aligned with your mission goal.
And that’s what it’s all about!
